What are you reading? Words, Words, Words
There is no doubt that words form the basis of our communication with one another. Some communication experts claim that non-verbal clues actually form 40% of what we want to say. Of course, while non-verbal clues are important, words are still necessary for communication.
But how about those who are deaf and dumb? Do they have words? How do they think? The essential question then to ask is: Do people generally think in words or pictures? Some may think in pictures, but most will think in words. We need words and words need us.
